Applies to all users of the Fiinq salon management platform.
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Fiinq platform ("Service"), operated by Fiinq Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Fiinq is a salon management platform providing online booking, appointment scheduling, client management, payments tracking, and related tools, primarily designed for nail salons in the United Kingdom.
You must be at least 18 years old and operate a legitimate business to use Fiinq. By registering, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
Fiinq is offered on a free tier and a single paid subscription plan (Fiinq) billed monthly at £24.99/month or annually at £249.99/year, as selected at checkout. All prices are in GBP and inclusive of VAT where applicable. Billing begins on the date you upgrade. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' written notice. Continued use of the Service after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new pricing. Failed payments: if a payment fails, we will retry up to three times over 7 days. If payment is not recovered, access to paid features will be suspended until the outstanding balance is settled.
The free plan is provided at no cost with certain feature and usage limits. We reserve the right to modify, limit, or discontinue the free plan at any time with reasonable notice. Free plan users are subject to the same Terms as paid subscribers.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will retain access to paid features until that date. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months. However, if you experience a material failure of the Service that we are unable to resolve within a reasonable timeframe, you may request a refund for the current billing period by contacting us at hello@fiinq.com. Annual plan cancellations: if you cancel an annual plan within 14 days of purchase and have not used paid features, you are entitled to a full refund. After 14 days, no refund is available for the remainder of the annual term.
You agree not to: • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law. • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure. • Upload or transmit malicious code, spam, or content that infringes third-party rights. • Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written consent. • Use the Service to send unsolicited marketing communications to clients without their consent. • Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service by automated means. Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund.
You retain ownership of all client data you enter into the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display your data solely to provide and improve the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the lawful basis to store and process your clients' personal data (e.g. names, phone numbers, appointment history) within Fiinq. We act as a data processor on your behalf. See our Privacy Policy for full details. You may export your data at any time. Upon account closure, we will delete your data within 90 days, except where retention is required by law.
Fiinq sends SMS messages on your behalf for booking confirmations, appointment reminders, and client communications you initiate. SMS usage is subject to monthly limits based on your plan: Free: 0 SMS. Fiinq (paid): unlimited SMS (fair use). Unused SMS allowance does not roll over between billing periods. You are responsible for ensuring your clients have consented to receive SMS from your business. Misuse of the SMS feature (such as sending spam or unsolicited promotional messages) may result in immediate suspension.
We aim to provide 99.5% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. We are not liable for losses arising from temporary unavailability due to maintenance, infrastructure issues, or circumstances beyond our control.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fiinq Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of revenue, loss of data, or loss of business, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid by you in the 3 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
All intellectual property rights in the Fiinq platform — including its software, design, trademarks, and content — are owned by or licensed to Fiinq Ltd. Nothing in these Terms transfers any such rights to you. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use your business name and logo solely for the purpose of providing the Service (e.g. displaying your salon name on your booking page). We will not use your branding for marketing purposes without your consent.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without notice if you breach these Terms, fail to pay outstanding fees, or if we reasonably suspect fraudulent or harmful activity. You may close your account at any time. Upon termination by either party, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will provide data export capability for 30 days following termination, after which your data will be deleted.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not accept the updated Terms, you may cancel your subscription before the effective date.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you retain the benefit of any mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence.
For any questions about these Terms, contact us at hello@fiinq.com or by post at Fiinq Ltd, [Registered Address], United Kingdom.
Applies when you order a website from Fiinq. These terms apply in addition to Part A.
Fiinq offers website design and development services to nail salon businesses ("Client") wishing to have a professional website built and integrated with the Fiinq booking platform. These terms apply in addition to the general Terms above and govern all website design orders placed with Fiinq Ltd. Only the features and pages listed in the chosen package are included. Any additional features, pages, or integrations must be agreed in writing before work begins and will be quoted separately.
Three packages are available: Landing Page — £350. A single-page website with a hero section, services list, contact details, and Fiinq booking button. Best for salons wanting a simple online presence. Business Website — £700. A multi-page website (Home, Services, About, Gallery, Contact) with full Fiinq booking integration and social media links. Premium Website — £1,200. Everything in Business, plus custom design, multilingual support (English + Vietnamese), SEO optimisation, Google Analytics setup, and priority support. All prices are in GBP. Prices are subject to change; the price confirmed at the time of your deposit invoice is binding for that project.
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your order and begin work. The remaining 50% is due in full on the day your website goes live. Work does not begin until the deposit has cleared. Payment is accepted by bank transfer or card. Invoices are due within 5 business days of issue. If the final balance is not paid on the launch date, the website will not be published until payment is received.
Estimated timelines from the date the deposit is paid and all required content is received: Landing Page: 5–7 business days. Business Website: 10–14 business days. Premium Website: 14–21 business days. Timelines are estimates and may be affected by delays in receiving client-supplied content, revision requests, or circumstances outside our control. If we anticipate a significant delay, we will notify you promptly.
The Client must provide all text, images, logos, branding materials, and any other content required before work begins. We will provide a content checklist upon confirmation of your order. Delays in providing content will extend the delivery timeline accordingly, with no penalty to Fiinq. Fiinq is not responsible for errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in client-supplied content. By submitting content, the Client confirms they have the right to use all materials provided (including images and text) and that they do not infringe any third-party rights.
After your website goes live, you have 7 calendar days to review it and request minor revisions to existing content — up to 3 revision rounds are included. Minor revisions include small text changes, colour adjustments, and image swaps within the supplied content. The 7-day review period cannot be extended. After this period, all changes are billed as one-off updates (see Section 8). Requests for new pages, new sections, or structural changes are not covered by the revision rounds and will be quoted separately.
Unless explicitly listed in your package, the following are not included: • E-commerce / online shop functionality. • Logo design or brand identity creation. • Copywriting or content writing. • Professional photography or video production. • Domain name registration or renewal. • Web hosting fees (third-party hosting costs are the Client's responsibility unless a maintenance plan is active). • Third-party integrations not listed in the package (e.g. booking systems other than Fiinq, payment gateways). • Custom animations or interactive effects beyond standard transitions. • Ongoing SEO management (included in Premium package setup only, not ongoing).
After the 7-day review period, changes are charged per update session: Small Session — £60. One focused task: a text change, image swap, menu update, or similar minor content edit. Completed within 2 business days. Medium Session — £120. A broader change: adding a new section, redesigning part of a page, updating a service list, or similar. Completed within 3–5 business days. Large Session — Quoted. Major structural changes, new pages, new functionality, or redesigns. Quoted individually before work begins. All sessions are confirmed and approved by the Client before any work starts. Maximum 2 one-off update requests per calendar month. For clients needing regular changes, a monthly maintenance plan is better value and guarantees faster response times. Unused session work is non-refundable once commenced.
Optional monthly maintenance plans are available after launch: Essential Care — £50/month. Security updates, uptime monitoring, and up to 1 small update per month. Standard Care — £100/month. All small updates, priority support, and minor issue fixes. Premium Care — £150/month. Faster priority support, regular updates, ongoing improvements, priority bug fixes, maintenance and monitoring. Maintenance plans are billed monthly and can be cancelled with 30 days' notice. Plans do not include new features or major redesigns, which are quoted separately.
Once full payment (deposit + final balance) has been made, the website design, content, and code belong to the Client. Fiinq retains no ongoing ownership over the delivered website. If the project is cancelled mid-build, all work completed to date is billed at a pro-rata rate calculated from the total project price. The deposit is non-refundable in all circumstances. Part-completed work will not be transferred until the pro-rata balance is paid. Fiinq retains the right to display completed websites as portfolio examples unless the Client requests otherwise in writing.
The Client may cancel the project at any time before launch by notifying us in writing to hello@fiinq.com. • Cancellation before work begins (deposit paid, no work started): deposit is retained; no further charge. • Cancellation during build: deposit is retained; all work completed to date is billed at pro-rata rate. • Cancellation after launch: full payment is due. The 7-day review period is not a cancellation right. Fiinq reserves the right to cancel a project if the Client fails to provide required content within 60 days of the deposit date. In this case, the deposit is retained and no further charge applies.
Fiinq's liability for any website design project is limited to the total amount paid by the Client for that project. We are not liable for any loss of business, revenue, or reputation arising from the website, its content, or any delays in delivery. Fiinq does not guarantee any specific SEO rankings, traffic levels, or business outcomes resulting from a website built by us.
To discuss a website project or ask questions before placing an order, email us at hello@fiinq.com. We are happy to walk you through what's right for your salon before any commitment is made. All project agreements must be confirmed in writing (email is sufficient) before a deposit invoice is issued.
Applies when you use the Fiinq app to find a salon and book an appointment. Parts A and B do not apply to you.
These terms are an agreement between you and Fiinq Ltd, and they cover your use of the Fiinq app to find salons, book appointments, message a salon and leave reviews. They do not cover the appointment itself. See section 3 — that distinction matters and is not a technicality. If you run a salon and use the Fiinq dashboard, Part A above applies to you instead.
You must be 18 or over to hold an account. Booking creates a contract and may involve a payment, which is why the age is set there. Keep your password to yourself. Tell us at support@fiinq.com if you think someone else has got into your account. You can delete your account at any time from Profile in the app. What happens to your data afterwards is set out in our Privacy Policy, including the one thing that outlives deletion: published reviews.
This is the most important thing on this page. When you book, the agreement to provide that treatment is between you and the salon. Fiinq introduces you and handles the booking; the salon does the work and is responsible for it. So the salon — not Fiinq — is responsible for the quality and safety of the treatment, its own opening hours and availability, its prices, its cancellation policy, its staff, and its premises. If a treatment goes wrong, your claim is against the salon. What we are responsible for is running the platform properly: showing you accurate availability, passing your booking to the salon, and handling your data as our Privacy Policy describes. We do not check, endorse or vouch for the salons on Fiinq. We do check that a salon is a real business before listing it, and we remove salons that break these terms.
Most appointments are paid at the salon, in the normal way. Fiinq takes no payment for those. Some salons ask for a deposit when you book, or hold a card to charge a fee if you do not turn up. Where that applies, it is shown to you before you confirm, and you agree to it by confirming. We will never charge you an amount you were not shown. Card details are entered into a screen provided by Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your card number. Two limits we apply whatever a salon sets: a deposit can never exceed the price of the booking, and a no-show fee can never exceed the price of the appointment you missed. If you are charged and you disagree, email support@fiinq.com. A person will review it and we can reverse the charge. You do not have to argue with the salon first.
You can cancel a booking in the app. The salon sets its own cancellation policy and it is shown to you before you book. The app does not let you move a booking yourself — cancel and rebook, or message the salon and ask. If a salon cancels on you, we will tell you. Any deposit you paid is between you and the salon; we will help if you ask, but we cannot compel a refund from them.
You can review a salon after a visit. A review must be honest and about a visit that actually happened. You must not post anything false, abusive, hateful, threatening, sexual, or illegal, anything that identifies another customer or a member of staff without their agreement, or anyone else's photographs. A review is published with your rating, your words, your photos, the date, and your first name with the initial of your surname. It stays published if you delete your account, though we will remove your name on request. You keep ownership of what you write and photograph. You give us permission to show it on Fiinq and, where a salon shares its Fiinq page, alongside that page. We may remove content that breaks these rules, and we may suspend an account that repeatedly does. We do not remove a review simply because a salon dislikes it — an honest bad review is not a breach of anything.
If you see something that breaks section 6, or a message that makes you uncomfortable, use Report in the app. A person reads every report and decides what to do. We do not tell the other side who reported them. You can also block a salon, which stops it messaging you and hides the conversation. Blocking does not cancel a booking you have already made — contact the salon if you want to cancel one. If you are in immediate danger, please contact the police on 999. We are not an emergency service.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by anything here. Beyond that: we are liable for the service we provide, which is the platform. We are not liable for the treatment you receive at a salon, for a salon cancelling or closing, or for a dispute between you and a salon — though we will try to help. We work to keep Fiinq available but do not promise it will never be unavailable.
You can stop using Fiinq and delete your account whenever you like. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms — particularly section 6. Where we can, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond first. Where the breach is serious, we may act immediately.
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you we will tell you in the app or by email at least 14 days beforehand. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
